After our normal band rehearsal, drummer Tymber and I usually stay later and hack out various old favorite tunes. But this day, she handed me a drumstick, and in the style of Daniel Ash of Bauhaus (the first one I ever saw use this trick), I began to bow the guitar with the drumstick, and as the glorious noise crescendoed, she began to accompany, and a rather, um, unconventional creation was born.
Tymber dubbed it "Creature."
